Ben Bird is a fiction writer from California, where he currently studies and teaches writing at SDSU. He is the recipient of the Arkansas International's 2024 Henry Dumas Award, judged by Bud Smith, and has received support from the Kenyon Review's Writing Workshops. He is currently working on the late stages of a novel and trying not to die.
